SAN DIEGUITO UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT TAX RATE

Map of Impacted Areas

Recently, the County of San Diego annual secured property tax bills for fiscal year 2013-2014 were mailed out by the County.

The tax bills for parcels located in the San Dieguito Union High School District included amounts due for a facilities bond tax.  Unfortunately, it was recently discovered that the rate pertaining to this specific tax was inaccurate, which resulted in a higher amount due for the bond tax (applied for the first time this year).  The higher amounts charged are approximately $14.70 per $100,000 of assessed value (i.e., $102.90 on a property valued at $700,000).

On November 5, 2013, the County revised the tax rate and made the changes in the property tax system to reflect the correct amounts due for the bond tax.  The change generated a corrected tax bill for your parcel.  These corrected tax bills were mailed out on November 8, 2013 and will now replace the original tax bills that were previously mailed in October.
