RECYCLE FOR READING: FRIENDS OF THE COUNTY LIBRARY HOST ELECTRONICS RECYCLING FUNDRAISERS

Friends of the Library groups at San Diego County Library branches are participating in "Recycle for Reading" by hosting electronic gadget recycling drives throughout the county. Recycle for Reading proceeds go to each participating branch's Friends of the Library group, which raises money for library materials and programs. Events are held in partnership with All Green Electronics Recycling and other corporate sponsors. Customers can drop off electronics for donation and/or recycling for free at the following Recycle for Reading events:
- March 9 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. @ the Casa de Oro Library (9805 Campo Rd #180)
- March 16 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. @ the Descanso Library (9545 River Dr) AND the Pine Valley Library (28804 Old Highway 80)
- March 23 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. @ the Valley Center Library (29200 Cole Grade Rd)
- March 28 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. @ the Borrego Springs Library (587 Palm Canyon Dr, Ste 125)
- March 30 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. @ the Encinitas Library (540 Cornish Dr) AND the Vista Library (700 Eucalyptus Ave) AND the 4S Ranch Library (10433 Reserve Dr)
- April 6 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. @ the Ramona Library (1275 Main St)
- April 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. @ the Rancho San Diego Library (11555 Via Rancho San Diego)
- May 18 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. @ the Campo Library (31356 Highway 94) AND the Potrero Library (24883 Potrero Valley Rd)
