August 26, 2011
Duo Revirado has been performing to ovation and acclaim throughout California, Nevada, and Mexico since 2005. The Lemon Grove Library, 8073 Broadway, is hosting a free performance by the Duo on Wednesday, September 7 at 3 p.m.
Duo Revirado is comprised of two musicians - Jose Rodriguez and Thomas Yee. They have performed at the Santa Barbara Symphony's 2nd International Guitar Festival and the Santa Rosa Symphony's Latin Waves Festival. The Duo began collaborating while studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and released their debut album, Historia, in 2007. Historia contains a unique blend of Spanish and Tango songs.
"Hispanic Heritage Month is a great time to celebrate the contributions of Americans from Hispanic backgrounds," said Branch Manager Amparo Madera. "Duo Revirado is sure to inspire and entertain our community."
