When I think of the library, I think of the world that opened up for a young girl. I remember clearly the first time I realized I could check out books and immerse myself into a world of fantasy and intrigue. Coming from a home where I wished for the opportunity to buy Scholastic books but couldn’t because it cost too much, the library was the place to get whatever book I wanted and expand my mind. Without the library, I would never have had the opportunity to feed my curiosity and my ever-starving brain with a world of "borrowed" knowledge.
