Enjoy a talk about the history of El Cajon and Fletcher Hills by local historian Eldonna Lay, "Songs We Know" from folk musician Tammy McCabe, a fun photobooth, an opportunity to share your favorite library moments, refreshments and more.
Del Mar Library
June 13 • 4 p.m.
Celebrate SDCL's centennial and the recent remodel of the Del Mar Branch with music, refreshments, and remarks by Supervisor Dave Roberts and Library Director José Aponte.
Julian Library

Bonita Library
November 9 • 11 a.m.
Celebrate the Bonita Library's Centennial with remarks by County Supervisor Greg Cox and Library Director José Aponte, a historical presentation by the Bonita Museum, live music, crafts for kids, and refreshments.

February 23 • 11 a.m.
Please join us as we celebrate San Diego County Library's 100th birthday with a trio of musical performances by Sara Petite, Nathan James and Erika Davies, as well as remarks by County Supervisor Dave Roberts and Library Director José Aponte. Refreshments will be provided.
Lakeside Library
February 23 • 12:30 p.m.
Enjoy a presentation by the Lakeside Historical Society, along with caricatures, a Best Dressed Librarian or Book Character contest, games, Sparkles the Clown and more.
Imperial Beach Library
March 18 • 6:30 p.m.
Jack Innis, author of San Diego Legends: Events, People, and Places That Made History, will discuss his book and share stories on the history of San Diego. Cake and refreshments will be served.
Alpine Library
April 18 • 6 p.m.
Enjoy a talk by local author Carlette Anderson, author of My Alpine, a children's book about Alpine's History. Anderson has served as President of the Alpine Historical Society, Alpine Honorary Mayor, and is currently the President of the Alpine Women's Club.
Poway Library
May 4 • 11 a.m.
The Poway branch will celebrate SDCL's centennial with a ceremony on the patio, as well as entertainment for all ages including a special storytime, musical performances, ballet folklorico and free lunch for all (while supplies last).
Fallbrook Library
May 11 • 11 a.m.
The Fallbrook branch will host a centennial ceremony, followed by a teen zumba demonstration, Indian classical dance, live music, face painting, henna tattoos, door prizes and more.
El Cajon Library
May 18 • 2 p.m.
Celebrate our first 100 years with a rousing dance performance by the Rhinestone Grannies, along with birthday cake and ice cream.
