The Transportation Planning section provides technical support during the Land Development process in the review of traffic analyses for discretionary permit projects. The Transportation Planning section support includes the review of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents to identify potential project traffic impacts and recommended mitigation measures. Transportation Planning review considers impacts to all users of the road including; transit, bicyclist, and pedestrian and ensures that the County’s Mobility Element and General Plan policies are implemented.
