The Construction Engineering Section of the Department of Public Works is made up of two divisions:
- Construction Contract Administration & Inspection
- Materials Lab

 | The Construction Contract Administration & Inspection section provides administrative, technical and fiscal control and quality assurance inspections on all capital improvement construction projects. |
 | The Materials Lab provides technical review and quality assurance testing for all materials incorporated into the work on all public and private projects. |
