Description: This project consists of design and construction of a West Transient Ramp approximately 5 acres including pavement for general aviation aircraft tiedowns.

Reason for Project: The project is a benefit to the flying public by ensuring safe and efficient operation of the airport by providing transient parking on both sides of runway 17/35. This will decrease the potential for runway incursions, a major safety concern for the Federal Aviation Administration. It will also help County Airports comply with the safety directive of the Runway Safety Action Team and to meet the needs of increasing operations and requirements of general aviation.
