Small automotive businesses (vehicle service and repair and automotive body shops) make up about one third of businesses requiring Unified Program Facility Permits in San Diego County. These documents and presentations are provided to assist the small automotive-related business.
ATTENTION - CERS is now Available: Starting January 1, 2013 all CUPA regulated businesses are required by law (Assembly Bill 2286) to submit business information electronically through the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). This includes information related to your:
- Unified Program Facility Permit
- Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP)
- Hazardous Waste
- Hazardous Waste Onsite Treatment
- Hazardous Waste Tank Closures
- Remote Waste Consolidation
- Recyclable Materials Reports
- Underground Storage Tanks (UST)
- Aboveground petroleum storage over 1,320 gallons (APSA/SPCC)
CERS has already been pre-populated with your existing facility information and is available to you through the CERS Business Portal. For directions on how to access your facility information, please refer to our CERS Information website.
Many of the Unified Program forms are no longer available on our website and instead must be completed online in CERS. However you may use the templates provided below for your convenience. Thank you in advance for your compliance with this new legislation.
